Rogue River is a city in Jackson County, Oregon, United States. As of July 1, 2011, the population was 2,140. [6]

History

The settlement was known as Woodville for many years, but was changed to Rogue River about 1912. [7] Woodville post office operated from 1876 until 1912 when the name was changed to Rogue River. [7]
