Early life

Revathi was born Asha Kelunni Nair in Kochi to Kelunni Nair, a major in the Indian Army who hails from Kallikkad, Palakkad, and Lalitha Kelunni. Malayalam actress Geetha Vijayan is her cousin. [8] How she became an actress? Bharathiraja had the habit of searching for his heroines in bus stops or on the way. He selected Subatra formerly in this way. One of his assistants informed him about a girl who was studying plus two. He traced her address and got permission from her father after lengthy arguments. Shootings were held at Theni,Vaigai Dam and Revati arrived in Madras the day before the exam commenced even though she secured 86% marks. It was difficult for her to act as a village girl because she usually wore modern clothes. She was able to cry in scenes without glycerin.
