Billie Catherine Lourd [1] (born July 17, 1992) [2] is an American actress, best known for playing Chanel #3 in the Fox comedy horror television series Scream Queens and Winter Anderson in the FX anthology series American Horror Story: Cult. She is the daughter of actress Carrie Fisher and talent agent Bryan Lourd.

Early life

Lourd was born in Los Angeles, California, the only child of actress Carrie Fisher and talent agent Bryan Lourd. [3] [4] [5] [6] Through her mother, Lourd is the granddaughter of actress Debbie Reynolds and singer Eddie Fisher, and the niece of Todd Fisher, Joely Fisher, and Tricia Leigh Fisher. Her godmother is actress Meryl Streep. [7] From her mother's side, she is of Italian, German-Jewish, Russian Jewish, Scots-Irish and English descent. [8] [9] Writer Bruce Wagner is Lourd's godfather. [10]

Lourd studied psychology at New York University, graduating in 2014. [11]
